About us

Where is Newham?

Three miles from the City of London in the heart of the East End, the London Borough of Newham sits just north of the River Thames. Overlooking the Millennium Dome and Greenwich, Newham has the London boroughs of Tower Hamlets, Hackney, Waltham Forest, Redbridge and Barking and Dagenham as its neighbours.

About us

Transport

Newham is London's best connected borough. There is easy access to the centre of London by road, rail and tube. City Airport, in Silvertown, has regular flights to domestic and European destinations and the award-winning Stratford International Station will soon offer a direct rail link to Paris via the Channel Tunnel. The A13 runs through the centre of Newham providing quick access to both the centre of London and the M25.
